Cookie Policy

1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how ZK Technology LLC, doing business as ZKTeco WFM (“ZKTeco WFM,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on websites that we own or control and that link to this Policy (collectively, the “Website”), and describes the choices available to you.

This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Notice. If a conflict exists, the Privacy Notice governs the processing of personal information, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Similar technologies include browser local storage, pixels, and other methods used to store or access information on a device. This Policy covers those technologies where applicable.

2. Necessary and Optional Technologies

Strictly necessary technologies support functions such as security, delivery of requested Website features, and remembering your privacy choices. Where legally exempt from consent, these operate without optional-cookie consent.

Optional technologies, if enabled, may support preferences or measurement beyond what is strictly necessary. We identify their purposes through Cookie Preferences and obtain consent before using them where required.

We classify a technology according to its actual function and applicable law, not merely because it is useful to our business. We do not knowingly use cookies to sell personal information or to share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or third-party targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable law.

The categories and choices displayed in Cookie Preferences reflect the technologies configured for the Website at that time. The presence of an “Accept All” button does not represent that every possible category or technology is deployed.

3. Your Choices

Our Website provides:

Accept All: Allows the optional technologies described in the consent interface.

Reject Non-Essential: Declines optional technologies while allowing strictly necessary functions.

Cookie Preferences: Lets you review and change available choices.

Where consent is required, optional technologies remain disabled until you make an affirmative choice. Continuing to browse, scrolling, or closing a notice does not constitute consent.

You may reopen Cookie Preferences through the Website footer to withdraw or change an available choice. A withdrawal applies prospectively to consent-dependent activity controlled by the Website; it does not invalidate processing lawfully completed before withdrawal or processing permitted on another legal basis. A choice may need to be repeated if you use another browser or device, clear site data, or if the Website cannot recognize a prior preference.

Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent access to general Website information, although a feature that depends on an optional service may remain unavailable until separately enabled.

4. Hosting, Forms, and Third-Party Services

We use Vercel to host and deliver the Website, including optional Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights when you allow Analytics. We use Zoho for CRM and contact-form processing; its form resources are requested only when you open a form. Google Maps is embedded on the Contact page.

Our use of a service provider does not mean that every cookie, integration, or tracking feature offered by that provider is active on the Website. Providers may process limited technical information on our behalf to host, secure, maintain, or deliver the Website or to process a request you submit, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements. Such operational processing is distinct from optional tracking.

Links to external videos or other third-party services take you to websites and services that we do not control. Your use of those services is governed by the third party’s own terms, cookie practices, and privacy notices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZKTeco WFM is not responsible for a third party’s independent content, availability, security, or data practices. A plain link does not authorize us to load a third-party player or optional tracking technology before you select it.

If we introduce embedded players or other optional third-party content, we will update the relevant disclosures and apply consent controls where required.

5. Duration and Browser Controls

Session cookies generally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies and local-storage entries may remain until their configured expiration, removal by the Website or provider, or deletion by you. Actual duration can vary by technology, browser settings, provider configuration, and legal or operational requirements.

Cookie Preferences or another notice made available on the deployed Website will identify material active technologies, providers, purposes, and durations where required by applicable law. Because Website configurations may change, that live notice is the most current source for technology-specific details.

You may also manage cookies and site data through your browser. Blocking or deleting necessary technologies may affect Website functions or cause your consent choices to be requested again.

Choices generally apply to the browser and device where they are made. You may need to repeat them on another device, browser, or after clearing site data.

Where legally required and applicable to our processing, we honor recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals.

6. Changes, Legal Scope, and Contact

We may revise this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technologies, business practices, service providers, or legal requirements. The revised Policy becomes effective when posted unless a later date is stated. We will update the “Last Updated” date and, when required by applicable law, provide additional notice or request renewed consent. Continued use of the Website after an update does not constitute consent where affirmative consent is legally required.

This Policy is intended to provide transparency and does not create contractual rights or obligations beyond those imposed by applicable law. Nothing in this Policy limits or waives any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or waived. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Requests concerning personal information rights are governed by our Privacy Notice and applicable law. We may need to verify a request and may retain records of requests and preference signals as permitted or required for compliance, security, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping.
